We Can Create Our Positive Reality
We Can Create Our Positive Reality
There is an overwhelming pretense marketed in American culture which infers that life is beyond the ordinary person’s control, that everyday people are powerless to have meaning in the world, thus humanity is doomed to be victims of powerful individuals. The best the average individual can do is make the most out of influential society’s arrangements. There are no seats at the decision table of life for the common public. Hence, the solution most regular people are advertised to employ is not to be themselves, but emulate people they believe to be significant, hoping to become important as well. Does this trumpeted plan work in average American life? Not usually. Most people in up in debt from living beyond their means; with health problems from overworking to pay for a life they cannot afford, and further jealous of the people they are trying to mimic because they are only making these prominent persons richer by buying their products or slaving at their companies.
When Americans view their lives through Fortune 500 companies and multimedia induced ideologies, they will continue to be subjected to hostile self-love and self-acceptance dispositions. The common person must unearth alternative means to visualize themselves and their unique lives beyond mainstream ideas marketed in American culture, then they can create a world of their own making. The ordinary can become extraordinary because it has meaning and value to the person living it. Every individual must discover who they really are by walking their own cultivated roads back to their authentic and autonomous selves. Common people must remember they have value beyond quantifiable venues. Their thoughts, voices, and actions matter because without it, influential society collapse. Conglomerates and multimedia companies need the average person’s attention, cooperation, and participation to thrive. Ordinary persons are not inconsequential as marketed.
